Biography: Nestor Bentancor is an entertainment journalist and Rotten-Tomatoes-approved critic. In his native Uruguay, he studied at the National University of Communication Sciences and the U.T.U. Technical college.
In 2009 he founded the bilingual movie news website DesdeHollywood.com, where he serves as Editor-In-Chief. In 2015 he launched “Nestor Cine desde Hollywood,” a YouTube channel featuring his reviews and analysis in Spanish.
On TV, he has worked as a Hollywood correspondent for major networks like NTN24, RCN, Nuestra Tele, and On DirecTV. He co-hosted a weekly review show for Los Angeles Times en Español and was a regular contributor to De Película Internacional.
