[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Biography: Kevin is a long-time movie buff with a wide variety of tastes and fixations in the film world. He cried the moment Benji appeared onscreen in “Benji” and it took him about four times to finally watch “The Exorcist” (at age 24) without passing out. “Star Wars: A New Hope” was the movie that changed everything and when his obsession with movies and filmmaking began. A screenwriter himself (one long-ago horror script sale to New Line remains on a shelf) he is currently writing a film for Hallmark while continuing his reviewing for EDGE Media Network, the largest LGBTQ news network in the world!
In the past, he has contributed entertainment features and film reviews for Frontiers Magazine and was a producer, director, and critic for the movie review show “Just Seen It” which aired for 5 years on PBS and Hulu. He is a lover of directors Spielberg, Terrence Malick, and Xavier Dolan and proudly embraces those panned films he openly adores. (Winter’s Tale, y’all!)
Favorite Films: Star Wars (Episodes IV-VI), The Big Blue, Radio Flyer, The New World, Mommy, Perks of Being a Wallflower, E.T., The Rocketeer, Legend, Less Than Zero, Betty Blue, Field of Dreams, Death Becomes Her, The Sound of Music, Another Earth, Come Back to the Five and Dime Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean, and Men Don’t Leave.
First Film You Ever Saw: The Wizard of Oz and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (a film I still find disturbing)[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”1001″ img_size=”medium” alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_circle”][vc_column_text]
