Biography: Rosa is a Chicana film reviewer and aspiring filmmaker. Born and raised in East Los Angeles, CA, Roas has lived in Southern California all her life. She is a mother to four beautiful daughters and been married for sixteen years. She is a proud member of several critics and prestigious circles, including; Online Association of Female Film Critics (OAFFC), Women Film Critic Circle (WFFC), Film Independent, and The National Association of Latino Independent Producers (NALIP). Rosa is the assistant editor for In Their Own League (ITOL), a site that focuses on shining a light on women and other underrepresented groups in the film industry. Her work can be found on her blog, rosasreviews.net, as well as ITOL, inthierownleague.com. Rosa has taken it upon myself to advocate for diversity in the industry.
