Biography: Peter Scrietta start /Film in 2005, and it grew to become one of the most read film blogs on the internet. Previously, Scrietta directed a feature film which was never released. It was through this production experience that Peter found his passion was in discussing movies and not making them.

Peter owns, edits and writes for slashfilm.com. He lives in West Hollywood, California with his girlfriend and their French Bulldog. He is an avid board gamer, an amateur magician, Disneyland fanatic and collector of pop culture art.
