Jeffrey K. Howard
Biography: Jeffrey K. Howard started small – deep within the murky bowels of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas’ communications department. There, while pursuing dual degrees in Film and Communications, he began his career as a movie critic on “The Movie Show”, a half-hour Siskel and Ebert-type TV show. In 1997, The Las Vegas Sun daily newspaper retained Mr. Howard to serve as the paper’s first and only film critic in the paper’s seventy-year history. He provided reviews and interviews for the Las Vegas Weekly newspaper and for the Fox, ABC and NBC television affiliates in Las Vegas. His weekly TV show appears on KCLV-TV and has weekly radio appearances on KKLZ and KLIF. Mr. Howard is the President and Founder of the Las Vegas Film Critics Society, a member in good standing with The Society of Professional Journalists and the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
